Let it Out

Don’t hold your feelings inside until it feels like you’re drowning in your own thoughts. Write them down, record yourself talking through the problem, or pour your heart out to God. All of these are healthy ways to release and process your emotions.

Don’t hold your feelings inside until it feels like you’re drowning in your own thoughts, God never intended you to carry everything alone. The Bible encourages us to “pour out your hearts before Him, for God is our refuge” (Psalm 62:8). Writing your thoughts down, recording yourself talking through the problem, or praying honestly are powerful ways to bring light to what feels heavy.

Even David processed his pain through words, turning raw emotion into prayer and wisdom in the Psalms. When you release your feelings instead of burying them, God replaces the weight with clarity, healing, and strength. Creating space to process your emotions is not weakness, it’s a step toward freedom, growth, and deeper peace.
